    Hi!
I was wondering if you’d had a chance to do the ab interval workout yet? I just found out I am 6 weeks pregnant (my first) – so I am a little nervous and kind of clueless about the safety of ab workouts when pregnant!
I have heard you shouldn’t get you heart rate up too high, or overheat- so should modify when it gets too intense- but if I am on my 3rd week of T25, my body should be kinda used to the intensity by now, right?!

Hey Libby! I put it off for a while and last week, I finally watched my husband do the ab interval workout. To be honest, I didn’t want to be let down that I couldn’t do the workout so I kinda ignored it. After watching it, I decided it isn’t for me. You might feel completely different though because you are earlier on in your pregnancy. I am 25 weeks pregnant and have quite the bump already so being on the floor, on my back, is not very comfortable. I plan on doing Cardio Abs from INSANITY on Ab Interval days.
I think you should definitely continue working out to T25. Most docs will agree that it’s ok to keep the same routine. If you are worried about it, just ask your OB. I don’t wear a heartrate monitor but I definitely listen to my body and if I feel too hot or too tired, I drink up and take a rest. Some people will give 140 as the magic heart rate but today I did Lower Focus (modified!) and my HR was over 140. Everyone is different!
I think it is awesome that you are working out while pregnant! Keep it up:) Let me know if you would like to be part of my Challenge Group on FB!!
