The Perfect Stroller

Before we left for our trip to the Bahamas, I knew we needed to invest in a smaller stroller.  Atlantis is a huge resort and I thought that walking would be easier than catching a ride on a shuttle.  While our Graco has been to malls, grocery stores, and on many long walks, I didn’t feel like bringing it to the airport. It’s just too bulky.
After reading some of the reviews on Amazon, I knew that The First Years Ignite Stroller would be the perfect fit for our 11 month old.  It’s lightweight and roomy.  I probably put 25 miles on this stroller already and I don’t have one complaint.  Actually, the only complaint I had was when my husband spilled some of his Miami Vice on the canopy.  No worries, it wiped right off.
This compact stroller has everything I need.  The storage underneath has enough space for toys, blankets, sunscreen, and diaper supplies.  The console has a zip pocket which held my phone and hotel key and still had plenty of room for a wallet or some snacks.   It also has a cup holder.
The actual seat is soft and padded with an adjustable five-point harness to keep baby safe and secure. Just in case your baby needs to take a little siesta, there is a recline option. The stroller is easy to open and close and the wheels have locks that can be adjusted with your feet.  It glides along and turns smoothly, which was convenient for weaving between the crowds.
If you are looking for a stroller that is lightweight and easy to maneuver, compact and durable, roomy and comfortable, then The First Years Ignite Stroller is the perfect match for you and your toddler.

Tropical Strawberry Shakeology Review

I am going to be completely honest in this review for Tropical Strawberry Shakeology.  I want to share my thoughts and hopefully you will have some of your own questions answered.
As soon as we got the shipment, my husband and I tore it open. There was so much talk and a lot of waiting for the the newest addition to the Shakeology Family. I added the contents of one packet, crushed ice, water, and almond milk to the shaker cup and took my first drink. Holy sweetness! I couldn’t believe how much strawberry flavor was packed into one sip.
It was a little grainy when I compared it to Chocolate and Greenberry Shakeology but then I realized that it wasn’t a fair comparison. Tropical Strawberry is a vegan shake made from fermented brown rice and not whey protein. Another difference in consistency was the thickness. After having Chocolate Shakeology as a regular part of my diet, I got used to the thick and smooth texture.
The next day, I made the shake in a blender with more water, more almond milk, a banana, and ice. Now this is what I was waiting for! Smooth and creamy deliciousness. But wait, the next day I added a few tablespoons of plain yogurt. I really didn’t think it could get any better. I have also added frozen mango and blueberries and I am beginning to think that the possibilities are endless.
I am also happy to report that since the shake is vegan, it didn’t bother my tummy AND it didn’t bother the baby. I don’t know how much longer I will breastfeed but I am relieved to know that I can finally enjoy Shakeology again and we both can benefit from its nutrition.
See for yourself. Give Tropical Strawberry Shakeology a try. Let your taste buds be the true judge!
