A Day in the Life of a Stay at Home Mom

A Facebook friend posted this article about a woman’s typical day as a stay at home mom. Although, I do not have two babies, I feel I can relate with just one. My post alone is probably going to take three days to write since my almost 1 year old has figured out that we have stairs. Stairs without gates! Don’t judge. We will be putting them up soon.
As I write, my kitchen sink has the pots and pans from lunch and now that I think of it, I may have to rerun the wash machine since the clothes have been in there all day. Two weeks ago, the genius mom in me made extra chicken and spinach lasagna and it is now defrosting in the oven. <Update–the baby did not like the chicken and spinach lasagna this time around and so I still had to scurry around the kitchen!>
I could go on and on about my crazy days but I wouldn’t trade them in for anything else. I am fortunate to be a stay at home mom.  Uh oh!  I’ve got to run–all the toys in the world can’t entertain a teething toddler (who earlier in the day), took a five minute nap in the car only to wake up and act like she hibernated for the entire winter.
